Everybody knows that Roddenberry was at least an agnostic, and probably 
an atheist. Nevertheless, he had a moral code, and he expressed his 
(anti-religious) moral code via Star Trek.

I am sure you all can name a favorite episode, or at least a favorite 
scene, that illustrates my point.
