I have the unpleasant announcment reporting that Anton Yelchin, best known for
playing Checkov in the new Star Trek films was killed in a car accident early
Sunday June 19th 2016.

According to news media soures, "Yelchin, 27, was struck by his own car as it
rolled backward down his driveway in Studio City, according to police Officer
Jenny Hosler.  The car pined Yelchin against a brick mailbox and a security
Fence."
