I feel your pain.

I had a similar thing happen back in the mid to late 1990's, except it was a
pure 64-bit Alpha station running some unholy version of Unix.  All I had to
do was pay the shipping.  I turned it down.  Looking back now, I have no
regrets given they sold out to HP <- abandonware to the extreme.  May they
rest in pieces ... or is it feces?
