Maybe someday but I have my doubts.

Actually I have managed it in just over 5 minutes but that was a specific
kernel destined for a specific machine with all the unneeded device drivers
etc turned off.  Looking around at what I have currently working it probably
could easily be achieved but then where's the fun in that?

Them were the days.  Been there, done it.

Slackware to LFS in my case.  However it wasn't because of glibc.  If I had to
pick one annoying feature that caused the switch it would have to be vim.

Both works best for me.  Given my age and circumstances that may not be for
much longer which only encourages me to keep it going ...
