Hey mark!
Okay that looks better. I have you down as en_US.utf8 and EST5EDT. Should be
no issue given your hidden CHRS thingy which is totally bogus btw. ;-)
ml> original type 2
It was in it's original form prior to WeBeBashing. Sometime between 1999-ish
to 2005-ish. It started out as a 'fix' to some issues I had at the time. I
only picked it up again later on and started calling it WeBeBashing.
ml> type 2+ and type 2.2...
Probably 2+ if that is the one without the domain in the header. Also I
thought there was an incarnation without a broken apart localtime thingy which
I never got working with anyone but was attractive since I never was a fan of
any ftn datetime stamps to be quite honest. Currently the pkt header that
gets tacked on prior to uploading contains a 16-bit month ranging between 0-11
which is not only a waste of bits but also silly since numerically June is
actually 6 and never 5 ... except amongst certain progammers who insist the
first on EVERYTHING is actually 0 which in this case it isn't ... except it
is. :::sigh:::
ml> we're not too far of in our likes and dislikes, contrary to
ml> popular belief...
Speaking for myself I was never aware there was any conflict between us,
although I can understand why some might think there was. Definetly no
conflict as far as I am concerned and I never was under the impression there
was any at your end. As far as I know I get the impression we like to take
pokes at each other when the opportunity to do so arises, such as your bogus
CHRS thingy. ;-)
Life is good,
Maurice
... Don't cry for me I have vi.
