Hi everyone, I've just hooked up to this echo, mainly to discuss a project with
Maurice.  For everyone else, I've done quite a bit of scripting in Bash,
including writing a ham radio remote base controller, using a combination of
thelinkbox (audio/repeater/VoIP controller), Hamliv (rig control), a handful of
GNU utilities for text and numeric manipulation, and a number of shell scripts
that manage the system.

I also wrote a satellite Doppler tracker that uses the same infrastructure.  In
addition to the above, this uses Predict for the Doppler information.  The
Doppler tracker hasn't been fully integrated into the remote base yet.

Anyway, hope that's stimulated a bit of echo activity. :)
