MSGID: 2:280/464.113 66ce5b79 CHRS: UTF-8 4 Hey Dan! DC> before you'll give 6.10.6 a long enough run to know, you'll have DC> upgraded to the next new one. Possible but unlikely since it is one of the two hotspots for the wireless network. The only reason I'm upgrading now is because of a storm taking down the other one so I took the opportunity to bring both in sync which they currently are. The other hotspot is the fidonet node known as Little Mikey's Brain. It was a ton of work but because of my more adventerous nature on my workstation (aka One of us) it didn't take too long to achieve. It used to be a 16 penguin system but has been replaced by a quad core I happened to have in reserve. It is now the Brain on the local scene. Unless something ugly rears it's head in the meantime I seriously doubt I'll be changing kernels before the new year. My workstation is a entirely different matter and all bets are off when there is an official new kernel to be had. Same with gcc and glibc etc. I know haw to have fun and get away with it ... mostly. Getting old though. :::sigh::: Het leven is goed, Maurice -o o- -o o- (\ /) (\ /) ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ...
