This didn't work very well, either.

As I mentioned in a previous message, this client doesn't know anything about
FTN kludges (it is an NNTP client). I'm almost certain it read the
"Content-Type: text/plain; charset=KOI8R" kludge that you sent along with this
message (even though you had a CP866 Fidonet FTN kludge).

I wonder if the CP866 to KOI8R translation didn't work?
