Didn't God smite people? Apparently using the actual elements around us
as weapons for the wrath of God is OK when you do it for good to smite
   evil.

Perhaps Jesus was taken out of context.... Moses carried a staff which
turned into a snake and gobbled-up the other snakes, didn't he?

Given all the metaphors in the Bible, how are we to know that the
depiction of evil (the snake) isn't also including an evil person being
swallowed whole by another and the guns are the snakes. And the Church
member with the gun wasn't the modern day Moses (the hero of the story)
and it might happen all the time when someone stands up in church to
smite the evil that presents its self in a church?

Repeal the Patriot Act and close down the FISA COURT.... it's worse for
America than the terrorists it was set up to deal with.
