Democrats swore in three new senators on Wednesday, officially handing
the party the Senate majority for the first time since they lost the
   chamber in the 2014 elections.

Newly minted Vice President Kamala Harris swore in Georgia Sens. Jon
Ossoff (D) and Raphael Warnock (D), who defeated GOP Sens. David Perdue
(Ga.) and Kelly Loeffler (Ga.) in the Jan. 5 run-off elections.

Harris also swore in her successor as California senator, former
California Secretary of State Alex Padilla, who will hold the seat
through the scheduled end of Harris’s term in 2022.

Swearing in the three senators, as well as Harris’s own swearing in
earlier Wednesday at the Capitol, officially gives Democrats control of
   the Senate.

   The Worst President in History

Three particular failures secure Trump’s status as the worst chief
executive ever to hold the office.

Trump has long exulted in superlatives. The first. The best. The most.
The greatest. “No president has ever done what I’ve done,” he boasts.
“No president has ever even come close,” he says. But as his four years
in office draw to an end, there’s only one title to which he can lay
claim: Donald Trump is the worst president America has ever had.
