   No, those few hundred do not represent a 'huge' number.  Nor have their   
   actions been considered acceptable or reasonable.  They've been slammed   
   and villified for being irrespnsible cretins.  And I think it's hard to   
   say Oz is conformist when compared to other countries if you look at   
   social issues such as legalised gay marriage, abortion access and a   
   highly secular community with few declared sky pixie worshippers.  Many   
   other countries don't have those.  And lets not forget the Sydney Gay   
   and Lesbian Mardi Gras which has been running since the 1970s - very   
   open of society to be so accepting and for that to be so strongly   
   supported by the straight community.....

   Yes, it is embarrassing to have such boofheads out on our streets.   
   These demonstrating boofheads are selfish, arrogant and ignorant.  They   
   will probably have been wittering on about 'rights' whereas the rest of   
   the community has been very quick to tell these idiots that goes hand in   
   hand with 'responsibility'  Holding a possible supper spreader event is   
   not the least bit responsible and individual rights do nt trump public   
   health during a pandemic.
