   A couple who were arrested after making complaints about their daughter's   
   primary school, which included comments made on WhatsApp, say police had   
   accepted liability for unlawful arrest and paid damages of £20,000, plus costs   
      
   Hertfordshire Police previously said the arrests "were necessary to fully   
   investigate the allegations".   
      
      
      
   Our police have a concerning habit of arresting people when there has been no   
   criminal wrongdoing. It's good to see at least one case where they are held to   
   account.   
      
   It won't stop; it's easier than pursuing criminals and preventing actual crime.
