   During the Question Time immigration debate, Liberal Democrat deputy leader   
   Daisy Cooper and shadow justice minister Kieran Mullan argued about the   
   benefits of an EU scheme for returning asylum seekers, which the UK left after   
   Brexit.   
      
   As the chart below shows, in the years leading up the EU referendum the UK   
   transferred more people to other EU countries, under this scheme than it   
   received in return.   
      
   After the referendum it was the other way round.   
      
      
      
   "Any price is worth paying" the brextremist zealots said - Even having to   
   accept more immigrants after brexit than before.
