   I believe it's a much deeper issue than that but it does help to keep those   
   who believe "Israel can do no wrong" in the fold.   
      
   Pro-Israel propagandists have convinced many that Israel is not persecuting   
   Christians even though that is simply not true.   
      
   Christians in Gaza have suffered as much as Palestinians have from attacks and   
   murders by Israel's military, while Christians in the West Bank have long   
   suffered attacks, violence, abuse and persecution, while under the threat of   
   having their land and    
   property stolen through illegal settlement expansion.   
      
   Israel usually dismisses that as "extremist factions" even though this is   
   encouraged and approved of by Israel's far right government.   
      
   None of this is new; it simply doesn't get reported, gets swept under the
