   The quote "I estimate that none will survive" was a genocidal statement made   
   by Ahmed   
   Shukairy, the chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), shortly   
   before the   
   outbreak of the 1967 Six-Day War.   
      
   Speaking upon his arrival in Amman, Jordan, around June 1, 1967, Shukairy was   
   describing   
   the impending fate of Israeli Jews in the event of an Arab victory. This   
   statement was made   
   in the context of other escalatory comments by Arab leaders at the time.
