   Britain stands alone in being particularly more likely to want to support   
   Ukraine until it prevails against Russia, with 48% saying so versus 24% who   
   would prefer to encourage a negotiated end to the conflict, even if it left   
   Russia in control of    
   conquered territory.   
      
      
      
   Doesn't surprise me. Despite professing to be a peace-loving nation we have an   
   ingrained nationalist exceptionalism and a corresponding blood-lust. Many   
   Brits are forever spoiling for a fight, being that on the terraces, in the   
   pubs and clubs at the    
   weekend, or in military conflict. The number of Brits in Ukraine wanting to   
   kill Russians was inevitable - Any excuse will do.   
      
   Unable to even entertain losing they would cheer and enable Ukrainians to   
   fight until none were left standing, would probably murder any who were as   
   traitors, then throw themselves and the rest of Britain on the pyre.   
      
   "Better to die on our feet than live on our knees".   
      
   These are people who prefer to die than live, people who would prefer death   
   today than victory tomorrow. We are a death cult.
