   The deadline for nominating a winner of the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize was 31st   
   January 2025.   
      
   That was just 10 days after Trump's inauguration.   
      
   Had he ended the conflict in Ukraine within a day of taking office, as he had   
   promised he would, he might have been in the running for it.   
      
   But he didn't. He fucked that up and missed his chance.   
      
   A year on and he still hasn't delivered the peace he promised.
