   New York mayor Zohran Mamdani is being hammered by MAGA morons and the usual   
   rightwing propagandists for there being 13 cold-related deaths in his city.   
      
   That's despite there having been an average of 30 cold-related deaths in New   
   York each year between 2018 and 2022, an average of 14 deaths each year   
   between 2013 and 2017.   
      
   And despite there being similar levels of cold-related deaths in other states.   
      
   And despite some of those dying having refused the offer of shelter, or taking   
   to the streets after being given shelter.   
      
   The NIH report that between 1999 and 2022, 40,079 Americans died of cold or it   
   being a contributing cause of death - That's an average of around 10,000   
   Americans being killed by cold each year.   
      
   But Mamdani is being singled out.   
      
   Whether that's because he's a socialist, black, Muslim, anti-Trump, anti-MAGA,   
   or there's a pressing need to pretend the underlying problem isn't climate   
   change denial, or all of that, we will never know.   
      
   One thing for sure is it's propaganda, a witch hunt.   
      
   Many of those slamming Mamdani for the deaths of homeless people are the very   
   ones who have hypocritically wished death upon those homeless people   
   themselves.
