   Labour ministers, MPs and mayors have rallied behind the Prime Minister after   
   Scottish party leader Anas Sarwar called for Starmer's resignation.   
      
   Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy said: "Keir Starmer won a massive mandate 18   
   months ago, for five years to deliver on Labour’s manifesto that we all   
   stood on. We should let nothing distract us from our mission to change Britain   
   and we support the    
   Prime Minister in doing that."   
      
      
      
   Another one for the "Well, he would say that, wouldn't he" pile.   
      
   We all know Labour did not win the last election so much as tory scum lost it.   
   and there was no option but tactical voting to get tory scum out.   
      
   The "massive mandate" labour scum claims is purely imaginary, is merely a   
   product of the UK not having a proper democracy, but an elected dictatorship.   
      
   As usual in Britain, the mandate claimed by those holding office was rejected   
   by far more than those who voted for it.
