   They won't upgrade your VHS tapes, but they have upgraded the   
   stories, hence "The Collection" Blu-ray range... the new stuff   
   they have added is usually quite good too, "Behind the Sofa" and   
   the new interviews especially. (Tom Baker is looking very old in   
   that bit in the trailer for the Blu-ray that I posted. It'll   
   likely be the last word on those days from him!)

   RTD has nothing to do with the "Doctor Who: The Collection"   
   Blu-ray range and he had nothing to do with any of those stories   
   either, so that is a lame argument. Not being able to play   
   Blu-rays is a good enough reason though.

   A fan promoting "Doctor Who" here should be what this place is   
   about, especially during the quiet periods when the show is   
   off-air. I mean, this is a Doctor Who newsgroup after all, so   
   people here should - in theory - be like minded and have some   
   interest. The fact you don't is irrelevant.   
      
   Plus, Season 13 is one of the best seasons of Doctor Who out   
   there... really. If there's any Doctor Who classic era box set   
   worth the fifty quid - this is it!
