   There were rumours that the BBC were talking to Netflix and   
   other streamers months ago. These rumours seemed to be founded   
   on nothing when the BBC/RTD/Bad Wolf kept on saying nothing will   
   be decided until after "The Land Between the Land and the Sea"   
   airs.   
      
   But... the spin-off still hasn't aired and the BBC have now   
   confirmed that there will be a Doctor Who Christmas Special in   
   2026.   
      
   So clearly there was a lot of lies and spin coming from the BBC   
   and RTD/Bad Wolf so maybe some of those rumours were true after   
   all?
