But it would depend on the contract that       Disney signed with the BBC. After all, Disney invested millions       into the show, so what do they get back for that? So it's also       possible those episodes stay on Disney+ for a period of time.              Either way, there's no guarantee the show will return to       free-to-air channels overseas either. Another streaming service       could, in theory, pay for the rights to those episodes.              We'll find out in due course... probably after the spin-off       series airs.
