Hello All.

I believe I have, as of the next VIS posting, completed the character
conversion routines.  The text should be much more readable with few if any
oddball characters showing up. The last posting earlier today still had 2
oddballs: the "…" which translates to ellipsis (...) and the "”" which
translates to the double quote mark (").  Previously I found the "–" that
translated to a dash (-).  If others show up I'll find conversions for them as
well.
