Hi folks...

Just wanted to mention we released ViaView! v2.00 awhile back for
Windows XP through v10. It's a file viewer in the traditional sense but
also works on files specific to FidoNet. This means it can read PKT,
MSG, TIC as well as mail archives, nodelists, echolists and filelists.
It'll display in Native, Text and even Hex modes which makes it very
easy to inspect the bytes and locations within a file.

Besides viewing of a PKT file, ViaView! also allows you to read/edit the
PKT header information and even convert it between Type2, Type 2.2 and
Type 2+ formats.  It also has the ability to lookup nodelist flags for a
given node, and even give specific details about what each of the flags
is used for.

This is a full fledged windows app with its own installer which is based
upon Outlook's look and feel ann has an extremely easy to use user
interface.  All of the screen positions, sizes and various controls are
all persisted automatically so the next time you visit a screen,
it'll be right where you left it.  You can event select different skins
to control its appearance specific to your tastes.

The file has been distributed on Filegate under the name of VV200.ZIP.
If you get the chance, I would highly recommend you download it and give
it a try.  After using it for a few minutes, you'll see it'll become an
indispensible tool in your toolbox.
