i wasn't impressed with capaldi at all...  certainly not his first bunch of
episodes as the doctor... however i may be jaded by his performance in the
Torchwood "Children of Earth" mini-series... i did not like his character in
that show at all... i've seen him in a few other things and they've been
alright but he seems to be about the same in them... i'm just not sure if it
is his acting style or what...
