just moved to a nice cabin in the california woods, got the rear suspension of
my '79 toyota tercel apart with plans to get the springs re-engineered (one of
them is weak, there are no suitable replacements, $$$!). One of the cylinders
didn't fire and I was concerned I had a blown oil ring, because I hearda
'pa-pop!' noise when it went, but i replaced the spark plugs and she's running
like a dream.... blowing smoke like crazy, definitely not california
emissions-compliant with a direct weber carb and no emissions systems or even
so much as a catalytic... got a lot of welding to do until its race-ready,
hope to maake the 2015 south california rally region races come january
