I don't care to see ads, that is why I use NoScript.
I've used NS on the XP computer and put NS on this phone too 

I heard of Ghostery(sp?) and took a look at it once but thought G was too
complicated for me to use so I stayed with NS.

Have You tried either NS or G?

I think You have used computers for the Internet way before I have.

I began with the C=64 in 1984 and first time on the net in 1996.
