This is not true. Why enable callers on a PX node with NetSerial when port 23 is open for human callers all day long? It is a good idea to leave PX running on another port and let that be for FTN calls only and leave port 23 or a port other than what PX/NetSerial is listening on and leave NetSerial connections open for FTN calls only. This is common practice these days. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v7.0 * Origin: Omicron Theta * Southaven MS * winserver.org (1:116/18) SEEN-BY: 1/123 15/0 19/33 36 90/1 103/705 105/81 106/201 633 987 116/18 SEEN-BY: 120/331 340 123/131 140 124/5014 5016 130/803 153/7715 203/0 SEEN-BY: 218/700 221/0 222/2 226/30 227/114 702 229/424 426 550 664 SEEN-BY: 229/1016 1017 230/150 152 240/1120 5411 5832 5853 249/206 SEEN-BY: 249/317 250/1 261/38 100 266/512 267/155 275/100 280/464 SEEN-BY: 282/1056 291/100 111 292/8125 317/3 320/119 219 322/757 340/400 SEEN-BY: 341/66 342/200 387/21 25 26 396/45 633/280 640/1321 712/848 SEEN-BY: 801/161 189 2320/105 3634/12 5020/1042 PATH: 116/18 261/38 396/45 280/464 240/5832 229/426 |
