Hi Matt,

FTP was the main protocol used 20+ years ago in Fidonet until BinkP took over
so unless your system or the Node you are calling can't do BinkP there is not
much point in using FTP.

I am using FTP with one of my downlinks due to an error between Irex and
Synchronet which I belive is now fixed but we are too lazy to change it.
