Whenever I have used MM, it always has showed the contents in the PERS
folder. Just tested it again, and it still does.

You're not alone. It does the same here with either Opera (my default),
and Firefox.

I have tried all the tricks mentioned in the "Getting back to Facebook",
to no avail.

I have other things to do so I've ceased fighting FB.
