Howdy Roger,

You don't have to be sorry. Windows itself doesn't seem to know, what to
present on the screen. After I had let the update loose on the laptop,
it showed a long column, with all kinds of settings, in a long column on
the left side of the screen.

Next time when I started it up and chose settings, it again was back to
the splash screen, with the icons for different choices.

Me too!

I really don't have time for FB, but I opened the account mainly to be
able to look at the videos and pictures my GS send from the various
places his job takes him, and pictures that my relatives put up.

Have a good day,

Holger
