I have not tried the update suggestion yet but what I can tell so far with 98SE is that it seems to know what a USB port is but does not contain any generic drivers that allow it to "just work" like more recent versions of Windows have and, IIRC, linux always seemed to have. So you have USB ports that 98SE sort of knows about but that you cannot really use for anything unless you have the specific driver for your hardware. * SLMR 2.1a * Psychoceramics: The study of crackpots. --- SBBSecho 3.14-Linux * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105) SEEN-BY: 15/0 90/1 103/705 105/81 106/201 116/17 18 120/616 123/10 SEEN-BY: 124/5016 128/260 129/305 135/225 153/757 7715 154/10 30 40 SEEN-BY: 154/50 700 203/0 218/700 220/90 221/0 6 226/18 30 70 227/114 SEEN-BY: 229/110 112 113 206 307 317 400 426 428 452 470 664 700 240/1120 SEEN-BY: 266/512 280/464 5003 282/1038 291/111 292/8125 301/1 320/219 SEEN-BY: 322/757 341/66 234 342/200 396/45 423/120 460/58 128 256 SEEN-BY: 460/1124 5858 467/888 633/280 712/848 770/1 2320/0 105 304 SEEN-BY: 2320/401 3634/12 5020/400 5054/30 5075/35 PATH: 2320/105 154/10 280/464 460/58 229/426 |
