it is what many streamers use to capture their various video and sound inputs
and broadcast their own TV/radio like broadcasts... if it is a live broadcast,
they can even react live to comments their viewers type in the textual chat
windows... most streamers are streaming their video games... some stream their
programming... others stream operational type training stuff like how to
configure a BBS or how to set up a certain program for use...

viewers of the streams can, but are not obligated to, donate real $$$ to the
streamer in various ways... there are many streamers that have quit working
regular jobs to stream full-time... a lot of them are making a better living
then if they were punching a clock plus they are doing something they enjoy...
it is all about building a community, having fun, and being entertaining...

yes, i stream a little bit from time to time ;)
