Thanks to You and also Nick and Mike for the suggestions to help me repair this unit. What I did is: I put the Right Hinge in place first, and then I tried "Very Carefully" to gently bend the Document Cover but it wouldn't let me get the Left Hinge into the slot. I don't see that Black wedge shape on the side of the Scanners Preview window anymore. Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I put the Left Hinge in place first, and then tried "Very Carefully" to gently bend the Document Cover and got the Left Hinge to go in to its slot. I try to keep sane in this room when I'm using the computer(s) and stay away from that "IN" Crowd. "IN" as in insane crowd. |
