What is "limited ssd"? Solid State Drive?

When You say "filesystem, then move data to the chromebook" is that done
on the Chromebook or to another pc and using Wi-Fi to get it on the
Chromebook.

I've only played with Chromebooks at the Stores a couple of times, and don't
know the In's and Out's of how to feed a Chromebook, that's why I asked here
about using a CD on one of them.
