You're going to laugh at me.  After all of the trouble shooting I've done, it
was nodespy being loaded creating the delay (smh).  I fully admit to extreme,
off the road, four wheeling, trouble shooting having occured for absolutely
ZERO reason at all.  I just don't run nodespy unless I am in front of the
machine and want to see how many peeps have called for the day and or usage
stats (such as whether I have emails waiting).  Then I close it right after
viewing.  However my rabbit hole adventure did result in a carrot:  my ISP
gave me twice the speed to 1gig permanent, and an upgraded router with a
repeater for the exact price I was paying for half the speed and a crappy
router. Then, after the 1  year, the price only goes up $5!  I love my
MetroNet fiber.
