I suppose if you're also using the Win10 machine for the BBS as well as for internet-things then the security patches migh matter. Even so, I find that the vast majority of problems occur from phishing scams that lure people to nefarious sites and THEN get the damaging payload. But if you never click on an unsolicited link in an email and stick with familiar sites, you can hum along nicely without more "patches". Just reading about it gives me a headache. I don't understand how it works or why it is needed. -- ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.50 * Origin: (1:396/45.29) SEEN-BY: 1/123 14/0 19/25 90/1 103/705 105/81 106/633 987 120/340 SEEN-BY: 123/131 124/5014 5016 129/305 130/803 153/757 154/10 203/0 SEEN-BY: 218/840 221/0 1 6 360 226/30 227/114 702 229/424 426 428 SEEN-BY: 229/452 550 664 700 1017 240/5832 249/206 317 400 261/38 SEEN-BY: 280/464 5003 282/1038 292/854 8125 301/1 317/3 322/757 335/364 SEEN-BY: 342/200 387/25 26 396/45 423/81 120 633/280 712/848 770/1 SEEN-BY: 4500/1 PATH: 396/45 280/464 221/1 6 229/664 426 |
