3rd installation try .. on top of bare metal  lenovo v510 with the win10 pro
64bit build: 1909 (18363.1556)
I've get a splash screen (WinPoint) ... and then nothing else
on the taskbar there is a "WinPoint Setup" pinned and a mouse hover displays a
white box
in the taskmanager details the process setup.exe still displays with path
c:\install\wp2005b5\setup.exe
but nothing else happens

a right mouse click on WinPoint Setup displays only  "close window"


the a. install did update upto windows11 in the meantime ...
I've also tried the setup again ... with the same result:  runtime error 216
and one addtl. try to setup in safe mode: same result:     runtime error 216

every runtime error 216 results at the same address
