Jep, noticed this as well. Will sooner or later grab it.

This exists. When forwarding a message, the header/footer from the source (!)
area textgroup is inserted. However, many people seem to miss this as the
textgroup has to be created upfront and assigned to the area. 

Actually, the default area's textgroup will be assigned to any newly created
area, BUT after installtion it does not exist and most people seem not to
assign one and thus end up with a lot of areas without text group assigned. I
have on my list to make WP create the default text group and assign it to the
prototype area during setup.
