You have to configure the respective file area for each node list/diff in the
node/pointlest settings.

Also, you have to *use either the diff or the full list* for the automatic
update of a list. Enabling both may result in "nothing" because if WP finds
more than two lists (also because you stockpiled them in the file area and now
all of them show up), it will do nothing. Full lists are only replaced, if
exactly two matching files/(e.g., NODELIST.007 and NODELIST.014) are in the
DistribNL folder. In this case, the older one will get renamed to NODELIST.OLD
and the remaining one will go into processing. Since later no more than one
file is assumed to arrive per week this works automatically as long as you
grab them every week.

BTW: THis underlying basics habe been used in WP95 already, so this (contrary
to nowadays public belief) was basically working for decades now. The only
limitation was that until now, WP was only relying on DIFFs (not supporting
automatic update from full list files). In addition, the files had to ne in
DistribNL or Inbound, so if TIC-processing was enabled in WP2005 it moved the
files out of sight. So for WP2005, either this had to be disabled or some
people used scripts to move/decompress the files directly to DistribNL to
trigger the automatic processing.
