HI folks,

A friend of mine sent me a synopsis of an article from some
agricultural publication's web site.

It's funny, the folks in the coastal plains etc. are doing
quite good for moderate temps and a bit of moisture, but in
the midsection we're dry and hot!

HIs comment was that today's high, instead of being
soemwhere like Death Valley, Ca. was somewhere in Kansas.

And, check out the wild fires this season.

I think we were hotter today than Sarasota, Fl.  HEre in
west Tn. I think we got upper 90's, and Sarasota around 3
this afternoon was only 89.
