This is a good point. I was trying to figure out how to get enough water
andsuch. The local wegmans supermarkets are out of bottled water. I did see
someat home depot today. But I went Your route and I put water in plastic bags
andstuffed them in the freezer. That is a good idea. It fits in there snug and
Youhave water and keep things cold for a bit of an extended period. I had
onemishap. Filled 3 bags, went to open the freezer to put in the fourth and
theall fell out and of course they had to bust At the time It was
notfunny. heheheheh. So I cleaned the mess up and next time put all the bags
in tofreeze at one time. Won't open that sucker till they are frozen, and then
Iwill be sure to be waring steel toed boots .

It is a good heating stove, I actually used the wrong term. It is a
fireplaceinsert, It is not a pretty one, When we bought it it was do You want
pretty orpractical. Wanted practical. He said this is what You want. It was
one of thoserare purchases that You make in your life and you say. That was a
good deal tothe effect It has paid for itself many times over and works like a
bull. I havebought few things like that, but that is one of them. It has a
fan, but evenwithout the fan, it can keep the family room unbearable at times
if You don'tcontrol it. If You run her hot, she can even keep the upstairs
bearable. I willadmit to trying to bake potatoes on it wrapped in foil :) and
a can of soup, but thats about it, but even that is not bad if You are in the
circumstanceswhich would cause You to need to do that type of thing.

A good thing happened already though. I was getting ready for bed last
nightand I noticed several times lately ( which is what was making me worry )
Ilooked at the basement as it was raining and had about 1/2 inch of
wateralready and I said, Dang, the storm has not even started. I went down,
andlooked to see where it was coming from and could not pinpoint it. I went
overto the crock to see how a new sump pump I put in a year or so ago, was
doingand the whole crock was full. Now wonder I was getting this minor
floodingalready. I whacked the tube a couple of times and the pump kicked in.
Whew! itran heavily for about an hour and the water receded. This whole time
the minorwetness in the basement was because the pump was not working. So I am
a bitrelieved about that now, and this is something I should have realized
before, but the wet was so minor until Yesterday, so it was a bad thing turned
good. Ifeel a little bit more confident, I will not have to call the fire
dept. aslong as we keep power. .

Well, we'll catch You later now...

Have a good One!
Mike
