Hi Richard,

RW> That's what we do, those and milk jugs. USually the bags are for

RW> freezer, bag 'em, tie thebags, put 'em in the chest freezer.

Woulda and shoulda done it that way, but never really thought of this type of
thing before, so I went along and did what they suggested on the Weather
Channel. I did not read Your post until over half of the deed was done :-( I
do appreciate it though and will remember it next time.

RW> ON the sump pump and its pit and other gear ... a good idea to check

RW> But then, they call me MR. paranoid .

That also is a great idea, Should have done that and will on a regular basis
now. It took that mini backup to make me check it and I am glad It worked out
well. Cellar was mostly dry this morning. If we can keep power, I should be
just fine in that regard. If those north winds don't blow the Pine trees on
the house, we should be in good shape. I only worry about the pines as they
say most trees in our area are not adapted for the north winds. And Lost one
of the three we had in the front to a west wind several years ago. Lucky it
did not come toward the house. Checked on getting rid of the trees and it was
over 3 grand a piece to have it done. So there they sit. I love em, but don't
trust them.

Take Care Richard

Have a Good One!
Mike
