What gets me is that in Arkansas, people are more inclined to spend money
on beer, tobacco, etc., than to buy a NOAA Weather Radio alert with a
battery backup and SAME Warning Alarm Feature (warns only for the desired
counties), that could save their life. I've seen it go from clear skies to
tornadoes in 20 minutes, and have noted tornadoes moving at nearly 90 mph.
That doesn't give much time to react downstream of the storm.
I guess you can't fix stupid. :(
