Yeah wish I did have. I'll probably still find a smaller
one, would like to have a larger trailer mounted unit to go
along with our remote truck in its other life as emergency
communications post, but i"ll probably find a 5 kw or so,
just to run Kathy's concentrator and maybe charge some
batteries, and run the fridge of course. I figure for 24
hours or so I keep the chest freezer pretty full, if not of
food then lots of ice, so there's plenty of cold mass to
store up that cold, and we just don't open the chest freezer for a day or so
if power's out. IF i have to with a small
genset I can also plug it in every now and then and help it
maintain proper temp.
i won't backfeed circuits in the house though, I could sit
the gen out in the backyard and drop an extension in the
bathroom window, run the fridge, Kathy's concentrator and
battery chargers all from one heavy duty drop.
Regards,
Richard
