i remember this... i was in Rantoul about an hour south of Chicago when i was
in the USAF at ICBM school... my young wife, first son and i lived in a small
second floor apartment... we got snowed in that weekend because the drift came
up and covered our doorway... the worst part was that 4 or 5 of my buddies
from the base had also come out for an evening of TV, cards amd drinking... it
took a week for us to get out... not fun at all...
