I have to go back three years to our last real snowstorm. We didn't get a
single storm this year over one inch. It was more lame than last year, if
that was even possible.

A far cry from our winter three years ago when we had (3) blizzards in the
same season - two of them in the same week! Had over 4 feet of snow on the
ground at one point. Now that's a winter! :)

JK> This year was strange (I'm using the past tense so Murphy doesn't decide

That is two more than we received.

JK> Winters up here in the Ithaca area are generally pretty mild now compared
JK> to
JK> the "old days". That's ok, I don't mind :)

The one time I visited Ithaca, it was in the single digits and had a foot of
snow fall in under 12 hours. I wanted to stay and move.. :)

JK> No kidding.. 100% chance of snow is incredible if that what they said,
JK> and
JK> then you got nada..

I recall us having a 100% chance of snow before - in fact, it was a "blizzard
warming". The next day it was sunny and not a cloud in the sky. I thought I
had entered the twilight zone.

JK> Just cold air would drive me crazy, that's for sure.. not that I get out
JK> and
JK> play in snow anymore like I did when I was a kid :) :) It just wouldn't
JK> seem fair though.

It is still cold here for this time of year. Cold, cloudy and windy. Was
ready for spring, but the cold air just won't let up.

I heard there could be snow in the forecast for Monday.. If we get 1.5" of
snow, it will be the deepest snow of the season.. Sad..
