AFAIK, the NC generally makes updates to the segments when they are requested
to update them by the sysop the entry if for... in this case, i would say that
you have two requests to send out... one to each NC with the changes for your
entry in their segment...

FWIW: you might also have helped them to find a bug in the processing if their
segment updates aren't making it all the way up the line... i know i've helped
a few others working where problems were in the flow from the NC thru the RC
and up to the ZC...
