Reminds me of when we lived in Louisville.. the city shut down during one very
bad storm back in the 2000's (don't remember the year now), and I could
understand why.

Ithaca has this gigantic scraper that works really well to clear the roads,
but their problem is they wait pretty much until it stops snowing before they
start clearing the roads.. Makes sense I guess, but it can be a PITA.
