-=> Quoting Mark Hofmann to Nancy Backus on 17 Apr 14 19:15:15 <=- MH> This spring seems like an extension of winter. Or at least winter isn't going to go quietly without a fuss... ;) MH> I was outside working on my bike this Sunday. It was almost 80 MH> degrees, windy, and I was on the hot side. MH> Been working from home this week. Tuesday, we had very heavy rain MH> most of the day, but it was humid and warm. In the mid 70s. Tuesday MH> evening, things started to change. MH> I had several of the windows open on the first floor. Went upstairs MH> to check something, came back downstairs and it must have dropped 10 MH> degrees in 10 minutes. I had to shut the windows. MH> Later Tuesday evening, it went from the mid 70s to the mid 30s. Then, MH> the rain changed to snow! We almost picked up a dusting of snow as MH> the temp dropped to 28 degrees Tuesday night. MH> Unreal! Yup.. essentially the same weather patterns here... Monday was well over 80, here... I didn't go outside at all, just stayed in where the house didn't get that warm... I was out doing things on Tuesday where it was cold all day... our drop was overnight Monday... Not sure I could have handled the full range of temps... ;) Gradually warming back up now, mostly sunny for now... :) ttyl neb ... When in doubt...No, don't do that either. --- Blue Wave/DOS v2.20 * Origin: The Holodeck BBS telnet://holo.homeip.net:2323 (1:261/1381) |
